A message in a bottle

The other day I wrote a message in a bottle and tossed it out to sea. This message within the bottle was not of much importance and now I wish I had written something a bit different, maybe something funnier or simpler. However, the idea of this bottle and its intended recipient are of significance. So, now I wait and wonder, whether the bottle was received, whether the message was read, and whether I will get a reply.
