Each morning I walk one block from my apartment to the staff bus stop and for the past few days the temperature has been well below -20C. I was foolishly eating/carrying a toasted bagel the other morning only to find my fingers blue by the time I got into the bus. I have never felt cold like this before. My hand was so cold that my bones were hurting.

I still managed to brave the cold weather today and went out for a quick ride (1.5 hrs) in my break. The sun made a welcome appearance and it was said to be a warmish -15C. The wind however lingered and must have dropped the temperature lower. Nevertheless it was fun.
